Ben came to Susie when he was 32 years old and weighed 115 kilos. Ben was keen to learn about how to eat as well as wanted to lose weight. During their initial sessions in September 2003, Susie set Ben a goal weight of 80kilos which at the time Ben laughed at. For the initial 6 weeks, Ben did not lose any weight on the scales, although he felt better and his clothes felt looser. Over the next twelve months Ben saw Susie every three weeks for regular follow up and fine tuning of his meal plan. Once Ben had lost ~ 20 kilos, ~8 months after his first appointment Susie encouraged him to consult with a personal trainer to further increase his muscle mass in order to become more metabolically efficient. Ben then went on to achieve his goal weight of 76kilos ~ 12 months after his initial dietary appointment, he recently ran a time of 43 minutes in the Sutherland to Surf and earlier this year completed his first marathon in under 4 hours, something that he never imagined in his wildest dreams that he would achieve. He knows exactly how to balance his food intake to eat well but enjoy life and good food to maintain his weight and be healthy. |

Simone came to Susie in October 2004 after seeing Susie speak about fat loss at Sutherland Leisure Centre. Simone had always worked out but was weighing in at almost 70 kilos, which placed her in an overweight category. Susie and Simone develop a fat loss meal plan and Simone went on to lose 6 kilograms following this over the next 2 months. Once Simone was closer to her goal weight of 60 kilograms, Susie encouraged her to see a personal trainer to develop a personalised exercise plan to help her shift further body fat and shape her body. In February Simone reached a weight of 56 kilograms, which was the leanest she has been been and competed in her first half marathon in Sydney in May 2005. Having well and truly caught the running bug, Simone decided to take on the challenge of training for a marathon and completed the Gold Coast Marathon in July 2006 in 4 hours and 23 minutes – a dream that she's always had, but never thought she could achieve! |

Jen: An inspirational story From October through to January Jen has walked for an hour each day and followed her meal plan religiously. Until January, Jen had lost ~8kgs but her weight loss had hit a plateau. I then encouraged Jen to consider adding some skipping to her day, rather than try and do even more walking to help boost her metabolic rate. Jen now skips for 10 mins a day after her walk, and in the past month alone has lost another 4kgs, her biggest loss to date. Jen is now just a few kgs from her goal weight and is feeling fabulous. Check out these pics on my website to see how small lifestyle changes such as just 10 mins of skipping can make to your weight, your body and your life.
